Glowing skin is a hugely important matter in every woman’s life.

I mean who doesn’t want a radiant, healthy, glowing skin?

Now we’re all prone to skin problems and cosmetics can definitely help by hiding some imperfections, pimples, redness and even acne. But we want to solve the problem from within! So with the wide choice of foods and nutrients that we have, we can definitely get a flawless, smooth, glowing skin.

I believe that the perfect balance is to clean the face with the right products and follow a morning and night time routine; but also introduce some foods with rich nutrients into our daily food routine that will help our skin get that healthy glow!

  1. Nuts

They are rich in Omega 3 and fatty acids. Not only they reduce the risks of heart and infectious diseases, but also they help maintain healthy blood vessels and blood pressure, hence a healthy skin. So make sure you get a handful of nuts daily!

2. Avocado

It is a great source of Vitamin E, which works as an antioxidant that will help nourish the skin from within.

3. Oily Fish:

Like salmon and sardines. They are packed with high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids. They play an essential role in the structure of the skin and can delay the appearance of wrinkles.

4. Broccoli

Not only it’s a must for cancer prevention, cholesterol and for reducing inflammations, it’s also full of antioxidants and nutrients that help maintain a healthy skin, protecting it from infections, especially skin cancer.

5. Oranges (or all foods that are high in Vitamin C like blueberries, kiwi and sweet potatoes):

Super antioxidants, they support the immune system and they are much needed to produce collagen to strengthen the elasticity of the skin. Also rubbing orange juice on the skin is perfect for acne prevention, fine lines, wrinkles and pimples.
